January 14, 2011 - Let's get wild!

Let's get wild! hehehe here's one of my fave Japanese singers (Utada Hikaru being number 1), Namie Amuro based on the Coke Zero commercial. Namie, 33 years old, is a very good performer (and a sexy one too) with a long career spanning over a decade and numerous accolades and she's not stopping anytime soon. I must say I'm quite proud of this piece.

January 13, 2011 - Lady in Red

The beautiful Paula Taylor! While I was cleaning my room, I found a rough sketch I did of Paula posing for a fashion line brand. I'm not satisfied with the likeness. So its not that accurate down to the actual red dress, guess what made me do this was the fact that it was her and the color red. Sorry for the bland background felt lazy to add in additional elements.

January 12, 2011 - Jacket Guy

I missed the last 3 days! Damn! To compensate those "art-less" days, I'll be doing two illustrations for the next two days. How about that? Sounds fair? Anyway, he's another original character with yet another uncreative title and I'm still looking for a fitting name for him. So some inspiration for this particular piece comes from an awesome watch I saw while malling and my combat boots (obviously modified) way back in high school and yep the plushy with a red Mohawk cause I always wanted to make/sew one. I definitely would buy what he's wearing though I wouldn't think it suits me hehehehe.You can see the previous character here. Enjoy. See you tomorrow.
